About The Las Vegas Buddhism Meetup Group
Buddhists and people interested in learning about Buddhism: Connect with likeminded people and share in finding enlightenment through the practice of skillful karma. All are welcome, so come share activities, friendship and fun!
The Las Vegas Buddhism Meetup Group was born from a desire of two transplants from San Diego to get connected to a Buddhist communityto meet more people with the same interests and to learn more about what paths and events are available in Las Vegas.
A small group grew on our cyber meetup page and continues to grow. The Buddhism Meetup group invites people to post questions on the message board or share a favorite book or Buddhist tenet. We also invite meetup group members to use this forum to notify those interested in Buddhism about Buddhism related events.
From Dec 2005 to May 2007, the Buddhism Meetup met monthly in person. However, the coordinators could no longer be present to facilitate them. If you are interested in volunteering to organize the face-to-face meetings, please e-mail lvbuddhism.com
Currently, we are an online only community that welcomes your thoughts, events and resources to share with others.
