Queer Sangha

QUEER SANGHA is a group of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people with a common interest in Buddhism. We are open to newcomers, seasoned Buddhists, and everyone in between.

We provide a space for reflection, discussion, mutual support, and learning. Each meeting begins with a 15 minute meditation followed by a brief period of reflection. The meetings will focus around assigned group readings covering a rich and diverse overview of relevant Buddhist teachings and topics.

This week's book excerpts:

1. Do You Have Time to Love? by Thich Nhat Hanh

2. Hopelessness and Death by Pema Chodron
