Come and join us for classes on meditation and Buddhism at Kadampa Meditation Centre near Bloor and Christie in Toronto. If you are interested in meditation, stress reduction, Buddhism or how to use Buddhist wisdom to deal with everyday problems and difficulties, this is for you.
Join us for weekly Buddhist meditation in Richmond Hill. This is open to all, regardless of background or previous experience. All are welcome.

Some Fridays, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Learn the basics of Buddhism and how to meditate. Participants will also receive instruction on mindfulness meditation. Eckhart Tolle Silent Group This monthly gathering takes place at The Inner Garden (www.theinnergarden.ca) in downtown Toronto. Our group follows Eckhart's recommendations to begin with 10-20 minutes of silence, followed by 1 to 1 1/2 hours of Eckhart Tolle audio or visual recording and concluding with an additional 10-20 minutes of silent meditation. I just returned from a five day Kadampa Meditation retreat in Glen Spey, NY. I was blown away by the profound, clear, and prolific writings of Gen Kelsang Gyato, a Tibetan Buddhist teacher and contemporary of Dalai Lama, who took his teachings from Atisha, who simplified the 84,000 teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni.
